Exercise & Bed Rest

When we are down with bed rest, we lose strength quickly and gain it back slowly. On average, it takes 2.5 weeks of rigorous exercise, to regain the strength lost from one week of bed rest. For those of us over the age of 65, we lose strength faster during bed rest, and it takes more work to build it back – but regaining that strength is a very realistic goal for most.

Let us know if a recent injury or illness has caused you to lose strength and you want help building that strength back in the most efficient and safest fashion.
